137th Annual Hopkins Picnic is crock-full of enjoyable 

The 137th Annual Hopkins Picnic will probably be underway Thursday, August 7 by means of Saturday, August 9 and is sponsored by the Hopkins Community Club.

Attendees are inspired to convey garden chairs for the free stage reveals.

The occasion schedule for the picnic consists of the next:

Arm Band rides, $25 for six to 10 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. No superior gross sales, tickets have to be bought on the carnival, rides by Ozark Amusements.

• Thursday: 5 pm, pet present, Safety Alley sponsored by the Hopkins Fire Department; 7 pm, Little Mr. and Miss Hopkins contest on the principle stage; 8 pm, The Rock’n D Boys and Brooke Turner, free on the principle stage, sponsored by Tri-State Ford.

• Friday: 6 pm, Gramps and Granny Show on the Roxy Theater, registration at 5:30 pm; 8 pm, Phil Vandel Band, free on fundamental stage, sponsored by 102 Valley Farms, Kelly and Jordan Morrison.

• Saturday: 8 to 9:30 am, breakfast will probably be exterior of group constructing; 11 am, parade, registration at 10:30 am at highschool; midday, car/tractor present at Hopkins City Park, meal on the park sponsored by the NN Leo Club, free ice cream social on the Hopkins Park, sponsored by JL Houston Co.; 3 pm, cornhole event on the grass lot by M&M Pub and Grub, run by the NN pupil council; 5 pm, children pedal pull, sponsored by NN FFA; 7 pm, Male Beauty Pageant on the fundamental stage; 8 pm, Forney/Stroud Band, free program on the stage sponsored by Hopkins Community Club; 10 pm, prize drawing.
