Nanooks Swim Publicizes 2025-26 Schedule

FAIRBANKS – Head coach Ksenia Gromova and the Alaska Nanooks swimming crew have launched their 2025-26 schedule. The season contains six common season meets on the Patty Center Pool and 13 away from dwelling, together with the PCSC Championships on Feb. 11-14.

“This season, we’re introducing a new swim meet setup that we haven’t done in the past,” stated Gromova. “One of the invitationals on our schedule is known for being a highly competitive, fast-paced meet, and I’m very excited to see our athletes rise to the challenge against strong Division I programs. Competing at this level will push them to elevate their performance and increase their chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships.”

The ‘Nooks kick off 2025-26 with their Blue/Gold Intrasquad meet on the Patty Center Pool on Sept. 19-20. The common season begins on Oct. 3 with a visit to Fresno Pacific for 2 PCSC twin meets in the course of the first weekend of October, the place the Nanooks look to proceed their success towards the Sunbirds after successful each twin meets final season. The squad returns to the Patty Center Pool for 2 extra twin meets on Jan. 16-17, dealing with the Westmont College Warriors and gearing up for the PCSC Championships the next month. The convention championships might be held on the ELAC Pool in Monterey Park, Calif., from Wednesday, Feb. 11 to Saturday, Feb. 14. The Nanooks look to proceed their climb up the PCSC ranks after their fifth-place, 909.5-point end on the earlier convention meet, their finest end because the 2013-14 season and their third-straight 12 months of improved factors totals on the PCSC Championships.

The NCAA Championships happen from Wednesday, Mar. 11, to Saturday, Mar. 14, on the USI Wellness Center in Evansville, Ind.
