Foxes, flowers and birds in flight are among the many topics set to star in a nature reserve’s images exhibition.

Members of the Low Barns Photography Group are getting ready for his or her third annual exhibition on the Durham Wildlife Trust web site close to Bishop Auckland.

Entry shall be free with the show open at Low Barns between 10:00 BST and 16:00 from 23 to twenty-eight August.

Here are a number of the pictures which had been taken throughout the North East, Cumbria and past.

Ronnie McDonald An island with a dozen or so green trees sits in the middle of a lake shrouded in a low thin mist, giving an ethereal quality.
