Marlboro, NJ – BYU gymnastics had 15 gymnasts named Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, the association announced Monday.

To be named a WCGA Scholastic All-American, a gymnast must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year. 

The Cougars combined for a 3.591 GPA, with 60 percent of the team being represented on the WCGA All-American list.

Overall, the association had 69 programs that averaged a 3.5 or higher GPA, with 1,218 individuals earning that mark, which is the most ever recorded (since 2008 when statistics were monitored). An impressive 302 student-athletes posted a 4.0 GPA, another new record since 2008. The average GPA across all reported student-athletes was 3.6558, which is the highest since available records in 2015.

Melissa Earl, Olivia Matern and Eliza Millar-Crossman are now four-time recipients of the award, while Kylie Eaquinto is a three-time recipient. Alilah Alvarado, Brynlee Andersen, Chloee Hoke, Ava Jorgensen, Mya Kirkham and Hailey Openshaw are now two-time recipients, while Anna Bramblett-Wilde, Addilyn Glazier, Deb Silva, Daisy Stephenson and Gracie Long are first-time recipients.
