Viking 5K and Fun Run to Profit Ocean County College College students

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) — On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the Ocean County College Foundation, Ocean County College Athletics, and Kean Ocean host the 2025 Viking 5K and Fun Run (rain or shine) on the Ocean County College fundamental campus in Toms River. This thrilling annual occasion is aimed toward supporting the Foundation’s mission of enhancing entry to greater schooling via scholarships and awards for Ocean County residents.

With choices together with a 5K race and a well being stroll/enjoyable run, this occasion is ideal for runners and walkers of all ages. Everyone is welcome to take part, from seasoned runners to these simply searching for a day of health and enjoyable. T-shirts are included for all 5K contributors!

“Lace up your sneakers and be a part of something bigger,” urged OCC Foundation Executive Director Kenneth J. Malagiere. “Together, we can turn every stride into a scholarship and every moment into a milestone for Ocean County College students.”

Registration begins at 7:30am and the 5K race will begin at 9:00am. Parking is available in Parking Lot 2 near the Grunin Center.
