Scholar Travel Awards Now Being Accepted | Workplace of Undergraduate Analysis – Workplace of the Vice President for Analysis

OUR presents one-time grants to UI undergraduate researchers who’re touring to an expert convention or skilled growth occasion.  

Students are capable of request as much as $500 per software, and won’t be granted any greater than $500 complete throughout purposes. To be eligible for a journey award, a pupil should:

• Either current or co-present a poster/oral paper OR be named on a presentation being given by a mentor.
• Engage in an expert growth workshop or symposia that’s related to their program of research.
• Have obtained no journey award from OUR previously OR have obtained lower than $500 complete in Travel Award funding.
  • No pupil is eligible to obtain greater than $500 complete in Travel Award funding throughout their undergraduate tenure.
• Complete the appliance type, together with:
  • Event data with location and dates
  • A press release of why you, the coed, will profit from this journey (approx. 300 phrases)
  • An estimated journey finances (airfare/fuel, lodging, registration, meals, and many others.) 
• Be enrolled at the University of Iowa as a full-time pupil

Applications are accepted on a rolling foundation.  Please apply a minimum of 4 weeks earlier than your journey dates.  If your journey date is lower than 4 weeks away from the time that you just submit your software, please contact the OUR workplace to expedite our assessment.
