The Colorado College volleyball staff heads to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for 3 matches. The Tigers will face Macalester College (1:30 pm PT) and Lewis & Clark (6:30 pm PT) on the Lewis & Clark Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 6, in Portland, Ore., then a single match towards George Fox at 1 pm PT) on Sunday, Sept. 7, in Newberg, Ore.
 
Last Time Out
CC hosted its season-opening Pikes Peak Challenge final weekend. The Tigers completed the match with a 2-2 document, together with a three-set victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering and a four-set win over (rv) UW-Stevens Point.

CC dropped a four-set resolution to #14 East Texas Baptist and a three-set match to #22 UW-Eau Claire.

SCAC Weekly Award

Sophomore Camden Goodman was named the SCAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for her efficiency on the Pikes Peak Challenge final weekend.

 

Goodman, from Park City, Utah, was key for the Tigers within the two victories on the Pikes Peak Challenge, together with posting a career-high 49 assists towards Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She leads the SCAC in complete assists with 91 and averaged 6.50 assists per set.

 

Goodman posted double-digit assists in every of the 4 contests for the Tigers and picked up 32 digs, together with a career-high 18 towards Wisconsin-Stevens Point as nicely.

Scouting The Opposition

Macalester enters the weekend with an 0-4 document after enjoying on the Grinnell Tournament final weekend. The Scots misplaced 3-1 to Central College and Grinnell.

 

Lewis & Clark can also be 0-4 after enjoying within the UC-Santa Cruz Tournament final weekend.  The Pioneers misplaced to Redlands, 3-1, then have been swept twice by UCSC and as soon as by Occidental.
