Field Hockey Outlasts BU in OT for First Victory of the Season

BOSTON – The Catamounts (1-2, 0-0 AE) captured their first victory of the season towards Boston University (0-2, 0-0 PL), 3-2 in OT, on Friday night, of their third regular-season match.

“We didn’t play our best hockey today, but I’m proud of the resilience the team showed,” mentioned head coach Kate Pfeifer. “Their resolve with three minutes left in regulation to tie it was notable, and I was particularly impressed with our ability to withstand being down a player for the first two minutes of overtime.”  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• After the primary half-hour of play at New Balance Field, each groups remained scoreless.
