HARTFORD, Conn. — UConn ladies’s cross nation had a formidable begin to their 2025 season, with all six runners ending within the high 10 on the University of Hartford Invitational at Keney Park.

Ally McCarthy (Sandy Hook, Conn.) set a brand new course document within the 3K race, ending first with a personal-best time of 10:44.0 to start her season. Claire Paci (Greencastle, Pa.), Loghan Hughes (Enosburg, Vt.), and Megan Minicucci (Bolton, Conn.) positioned second, third, and fourth, respectively. The Huskies will return to motion in two weeks on the Ted Owen Invitational in New Britain on Saturday, September 20.
