Pupil Paintings Evokes 2025 Sugar Skull Fun Run Brand

Bernalillo County, N.M. – Bernalillo County is asserting a winner for the 2025 Sugar Skull Fun Run brand contest. Nuci Vue, a senior at La Cueva High School, is the scholar artist chosen. Vue’s design was chosen for its vibrant colours, inspiring story, and talent to seize the spirit of the annual occasion and to encourage the design of the occasion’s official brand.

Vue’s profitable illustration options 5 sugar-skull skeletons, two alebrije canine, and a roadrunner alebrije, symbolizing neighborhood and the celebratory traditions of Día de los Muertos. One skeleton wears the quantity 11 for November, two youngsters are marked with numbers one and two for the times of the vacation, and the ultimate determine represents La Catrina, adorned in a stylized Mexican gown. Vue acquired a money prize and her profitable design impressed the present roadrunner brand that BernCo is utilizing for the 2025 Sugar Skull Fun Run.

The annual run celebrates the wealthy traditions of Día de los Muertos whereas elevating funds for Bernalillo County’s Quality of Life Fund (extra data right here).
