East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State’s males’s golf group shot a 1-under par 287 within the second spherical and is in sixth place amongst 11 groups on the Canadian Collegiate Invitational, being performed at Öviinbyrd Golf Club in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.

The three-day, 54-hole event concludes on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Notre Dame leads the sector at 25-under par 551, with Michigan in second, Missouri in third place at 17-under par 576, UNCW fourth at 13-under par 563 and Miami (Ohio) fifth at 3-under par 573.

The Spartans are one shot again at 2-under par 574 (287-287).

Graduate Ashton McCulloch and freshman Connor Fox tied for the low group spherical of the day with every posting a 1-under par 71. McCulloch is tied for forty first place at 4-over par 148 (77-71), whereas Fox is tied for forty fourth place at 5-over par 149 (78-71).

Sophomore Juan Velasquez, taking part in as a person, shot a 2-over par 74 and is tied for thirty fifth place at 3-over par 147 (73-74).

The Spartans will tee off on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m., taking part in alongside UNCW and Miami (Ohio).
