LONDON, Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — From 18 September to 16 October, climate pictures lovers from across the globe are invited to forged their vote and choose for his or her favorite picture within the Standard Chartered Weather Photographer of the Year 2025 competitors.
Celebrating its tenth yr, the competitors is run by the UK’s Royal Meteorological Society and serves as a platform to lift consciousness of environmental points placing our planet in danger.
Highlights embody beautiful cloud formations, the results of storms – from the north of the UK to the southern US, summer season scenes and winter frosts, skies being painted by nature’s colors within the type of rainbows and the Aurora Borealis, in addition to showcasing the outcomes of local weather change leading to extra unstable and intense climate.
Professor Liz Bentley, Chief Executive of the Royal Meteorological Society, commented:
“Over the last ten years the Royal Meteorological Society has been inviting global photographers, from experienced professionals to amateurs with a mobile phone, to capture the weather and climate through their lens.
