SBU Swimming Dives into Their Inaugural Season

Bolivar, Mo. — After over a month of practices and with one intrasquad competitors below their belts, Southwest Baptist University’s males’s and girls’s swim groups gear up for the primary meet of their inaugural season this Saturday.
 
This previous weekend, swimmers from each groups competed within the SBU Fall Instrasquad meet, which was held at their house pool. The Bearcats, cut up into Team Purple and Team Black, gave their all in competitors in opposition to their teammates. With 205 collective factors, Team Purple claimed the victory whereas Team Black adopted with 174 factors.
 
This fall, the SBU swim program consists primarily of freshmen joined by sophomores Ian McCorkle and Brogan Meier on the lads’s group. Coach Hagar eagerly anticipates the second when his group hits the water to showcase the merchandise of their arduous work and resilience. The Bearcats journey to Edmond, Okla. for the Oklahoma Christian Invite on Saturday, September 27 the place they dive straight into their inaugural season.
