Mark your calendars and prepare for some spooktacular enjoyable with Prince William County Parks! There are numerous fall and Halloween packages arising that the entire household can get pleasure from. These packages will replenish quick, so early registration is inspired.

Twilight Trek – Oct. 11

Join park naturalists for this enjoyable household program on Saturday, Oct. 11, 6:30 to eight:30 p.m. at Neabsco Regional Park that brings you up shut and private with among the wetlands’ finest identified inhabitants: the beaver, muskrat, deer, and different wetland critters. Spooky Critters – Oct. 18

Creepy, crawly, and completely cool! In Spooky Critters, youngsters will uncover the fascinating world of animals that come out when it’s darkish or give us a little bit shiver. From bats and spiders to owls and toads, discover the myths, information, and superpowers of those misunderstood creatures by video games, crafts, tales, and nature walks. A not-so-scary journey good for the curious younger naturalist! Two separate courses out there by age group. Ages 5 to eight, 9:30 to 11 a.m.; ages 9 to 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18. Program takes place at Veterans Memorial Park. Register as we speak.

Spooky Snacks – Oct. 22

It’s time for cooking up some spooky snacks collectively! Head to Birchdale Recreation Center on Wednesday, Oct. 22 (6 to 7 p.m.) and create Halloween-style dishes that can amaze your folks. This class at Birchdale Recreation Center is particularly designed for individuals with disabilities. Food allergy symptoms could possibly be accommodated. Family Pumpkin Carving – Oct. 25

Does your loved ones love carving pumpkins? On Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 12 midday, at Veterans Memorial Park come to the third Annual Family Pumpkin Carving Event! Carving instruments and a pumpkin are offered for every registered participant. (Fee per participant.) Start planning your spooky, foolish, or artistic designs! This is a well-liked one so be sure you register early.

Haunted Mini Golf – Oct.  24 to 26

Drop by Locust Shade Park for some spooky enjoyable Oct. 24 to 26. Course can be open on Oct. 24, 25, and 26 from 10 a.m. to five:30 p.m. $6/per particular person. Beware of any frightful climate! Spirits of Brentsville – Oct. 25
