The Journalism Education Association hosted the autumn 2025 JEA Adviser Photography Contest from Aug. 25 to Sept. 10. This themed contest gives a chance to acknowledge excellent photojournalism amongst pupil media advisers. The theme for the autumn contest was “Let’s Go.”

Fifteen advisers entered this contest modeled after the National Student Media Contests sometimes hosted at every JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention. 39 skilled photographers and advisers judged the photographs. View the photo results on JEA’s SmugMug account.

The spring 2026 contest will open Monday, May 18, and entries might be due 1 p.m. CDT Friday, May 29. The spring theme might be introduced when the competition opens.
