Microsoft is elevating the value of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and the corporate has now tried to defend the hikes.

Speaking to The Verge, Microsoft director of gaming and platform communications Dustin Blackwell mentioned, “We understand price increases are never fun for anybody, but we’re trying to reinforce by adding more value to these plans as well.”

He added: “It’s something we don’t take lightly, and we’re listening to the feedback of players and the community to try to provide them with more of what they’re asking for.”

For Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft added extra advantages to the membership like Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics, together with improved streaming for Xbox Cloud Gaming. The membership price goes as much as $30/month, from $20, representing a 50% worth hike.
