GOVERNOR GREEN TRAVELS TO JAPAN AND SAN FRANCISCO

HONOLULU – Governor Josh Green will journey to Japan on Saturday, October 4. While in Japan, Governor Green can have enterprise conferences and strengthen ties with Japanese officers and dignitaries. He will encourage Japanese vacationers and worldwide sports activities groups to go to Hawai‘i.

Governor Green can even be a part of Okinawan leaders to take part in occasions marking the one hundred and twenty fifth anniversary of Okinawan immigration to Hawai‘i and reaffirm the Hawai‘i–Okinawa Partnership on Clean and Efficient Energy Development and Deployment.

Following his program in Japan, Governor Green will journey to San Francisco to talk on the Dreamforce Conference on the invitation of Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff.

Governor Green is scheduled to return to Honolulu on Wednesday, October 15. During his absence, Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke will function appearing Governor from noon October 4 via noon October 15.
