NORTH CANTON — Josh Forsythe would be the Walsh University swimming and diving group’s first head coach.
Walsh introduced the addition of swimming and diving because the college’s twenty fifth athletic sport in July. The males’s and girls’s groups will compete within the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and begin competitors within the 2026-27 tutorial 12 months.
Forsythe is a Canton native who has developed packages at each degree, guiding athletes from youth to Olympic Trial hopefuls. Forsythe earned his Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State in 2012 and accomplished his instructing licensure program at Walsh from 2015-18. He additionally holds certifications in pool operations, security and energy coaching.
