No. 21 Wake Forest Continues Fall Schedule at The Bryson Invitational

DANIEL ISLAND, S.C.– After a powerful begin to the 2025-26 season, the No. 21 Wake Forest males’s golf staff goals to proceed momentum as they journey to Daniel Island, S.C. for The Bryson Invitational, set to start Monday.

In their most up-to-date look on the Hamptons Intercollegiate, the Demon Deacons delivered back-to-back low rounds over the 11 staff discipline, overtaking No. 4 Ole Miss to safe a second-place end. The nationally ranked Deacs recorded a three-round complete of 860 (-2), ending forward of No. 22 Florida State and perennial powerhouse Stanford. 

Before ending second on the Hamptons Intercollegiate, the Deacs captured consecutive staff titles for the primary time since 2017, incomes victories on the Highlands Invitational and the Bryan National Collegiate.

Fifteen groups throughout 9 completely different conferences are set to compete at Daniel Island’s elite Ralston Creek Course in Charleston, S.C. 

The Bryson Invitational is three days, teeing off on Monday, October 13^th and concluding Wednesday October 17^th. Teams will play the primary 18 holes on Monday, October 13, with tee instances beginning at 8:00 a.m. The Deacs can be within the first group off the primary tee with gamers from Vanderbilt and Duke.

Jakob Melin

Senior Jakob Melin ended the Hamptons Intercollegiate within the highest 20 after having a pair of top-10 finishes to start out the season.

Tom Haberer

Junior Tom Haberer had a second place end on the Hamptons Intercollegiate. This is the second-consecutive runner-up end for the Hildesheim, Germany native this season and third top-5 end in three begins

Jorge Hao 

Highlands Invitational Sophomore Jorge Hao captured his first collegiate title, tying the fourth-lowest 54-hole rating to par (since spring 1976) with a closing rating of 199 (-17). Hao’s first victory was highlighted by three under-par rounds, together with two consecutive rounds of 65 (-7). Leading by 5 strokes, Hao tallied a powerful 19 birdies and 4 bogeys over three rounds.

Nicholas Prieto

Junior Nicholas Prieto secured his second top-10 end of the season on the Hamptons Intercollegiate, tying for sixth on the person leaderboard. At the Bryan National Collegiate,Prieto claimed his first collegiate title as a Demon Deacon with a rating of 203 (-13), tying for eighth lowest 54-hole rating to par in program historical past. 

Kyle Haas

Junior Kyle Haas claimed his second-straight top-10 end on the Hamptons Intercollegiate and has ended every of the three tournaments this season tied for eleventh or higher.
