HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) – A Keweenaw County farm is showcasing fall enjoyable for the previous few weeks of October earlier than the winter snow hits.
Apple Acres Farm is an off-grid household farm in Houghton. It’s run by two Michigan Tech alumni who selected in 2020 to dwell a less complicated life.
The farm can be house to goats, chickens, geese and honeybees. Owners Heather and Caleb Wright Wendel provide farm stays, farm excursions and farm experiences April via October. They additionally promote maple syrup, honey, and eggs straight from the farm.
