Tarek Farouk Named Assistant Swimming Coach

Tarek Farouk has been named an assistant coach for the lads’s and girls’s swimming groups at Colorado College, in accordance with Tiger head coach Jen Buffin.
 
Farouk involves CC from Division II Catawba College, the place he served as an assistant coach for the swimming groups in the course of the  2024-25 season.

During his tenure at Catawba, he was the lead coach for the mid-distance racers, together with all strokes from 200 to 500. He helped the groups break 30 college information and the lads’s 800 freestyle relay staff qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships for the primary time in program historical past

Farouk is a USA Swimming and NCAA licensed coach and a licensed pool operator.

 

He swam for 4 years as an undergraduate at Colorado Mesa, then served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Maverick swimming applications for the 2020-21 season. He acquired a bachelor’s diploma in train science from Colorado Mesa in 2021 and a grasp’s diploma in integrative physiology from the University of Montana in 2024.
