Staff in Northwest Missouri State University’s Office of Marketing and Communication just lately had been honored for his or her work showcasing the campus setting.
The University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) final month acknowledged Todd Weddle, the multimedia service supervisor at Northwest, with a third-place award in its Quarterly Narrative Series Competition for manufacturing of Northwest’s “Be. Every. You. at Northwest” business.

Additionally, Lilly Cook, a multimedia specialist at Northwest, obtained fourth place within the Personal Vision class of UPAA’s Monthly Image Competition for September. Cook’s award-winning picture of a tree stump and vegetation in Colden Pond seems above.
“It’s an honor to have our work recognized alongside so many talented professionals,” Weddle mentioned. “These awards reflect the dedication of our entire team and the ongoing commitment to quality storytelling at Northwest.”
Weddle joined the Northwest employees in 2015 after 17 years as a photographer and visuals editor with the St. Joseph News-Press. He earned his bachelor’s diploma from Northwest in journalism.
Cook joined Northwest’s Office of University Marketing and Communication final 12 months after finishing her bachelor’s diploma in digital media on the University.
