Swimming and Diving Opens Season On the Street

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou swimming and diving will open the 2025-26 season on the street towards Purdue on Saturday (Oct. 18) in West Lafayette, Ind.

Competition begins at 10 a.m. within the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center, with reside outcomes obtainable through Meet Mobile and Dive Meets.

Last season, each squads discovered success sending seven swimmers and 4 divers from the boys’s squad and 6 swimmers and two divers from the ladies’s squad to NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

At the championships, Collier Dyer and Tommaso Zannella each earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1-meter and platform diving, respectively.

AGAINST PURDUE

• The males are 2-2-1 all-time towards the Boilermakers, whereas the ladies are 2-2 towards Purdue.
• The Tigers final confronted the Boilermakers on Oct. 25, 2024, at Mizzou Aquatic Center.
• Mizzou’s males narrowly misplaced 151-149, whereas the ladies’s squad fell, 161-139, final season in Columbia.

TIGERS TO WATCH

Dyer completed final season competing at NCAA Championships in 3-meter and 1-meter diving, incomes All-American standing in 1-meter (March 26-29). Dyer spent his summer season competing with USA Diving. The senior claimed bronze in 3-meter synchronized diving on the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay (Aug. 17) and completed 13^th on the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore (Aug. 1).

Karolina Bank comes off a standout junior season after ending tenth within the 100 breast at SEC Swimming and Diving Championships (Feb. 17-22) and competing at NCAA Championships (March 19-22).

Luke Nebrich returns to the Tigers after a standout freshman season, qualifying for NCAA Championships (March 26-29) within the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 200 free relay, 100 free and 400 free relay. Nebrich set his profession greatest within the 50 free with 19.02 at SEC Championships (Feb. 17-22).

Junior Zara Zallen completed final season at NCAA Championships (March 19-22) swimming within the 50 free, 200 free relay, 100 breast, 400 medley relay, 100 free and 400 free relay. She set her profession greatest within the 100 free with a time of 47.87 on the Mizzou Qualifier (March 1-2).

Poland native, Jan Zubik, completed tenth within the 200 fly at SEC Championships (Feb. 17-22) and competed at NCAA Championships (March 26-29) within the 200 medley relay, 100 fly and 200 fly.
