Oak Ridge Community Band members are having such enjoyable rehearsing for his or her Halloween Concert, which can be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, in A.Okay. Bissell Park behind the Oak Ridge Civic Center.

Band members can be wearing Halloween costumes. We’re inviting the general public to affix us for this family-friendly occasion and put on your costumes, too. Be positive to have youngsters deliver their Halloween buckets becaue treats can be handed out in the course of the live performance’s intermission time.

Some different alternatives on this system are Jay Bocook’s association of Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals,” Paul Murtha’s association of “Highlights from Brother Bear,” Randall Standridge’s “Zooveniers,” David Bobrowitz’s “Meerkats,” and extra.

In addition to distributing sweet at intermission, band members may also be gathering donations in buckets. Although all Community Band concert events are free, the band which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group has bills and enormously appreciates your generosity to this native group established in 1944. This is its 81st 12 months of performing for Oak Ridge residents.
