Girls’s Golf Concludes Fall Season in Hawaii

Mizzou girls’s golf closed play within the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Monday, ending in a tie for second place.

Freshman Ebba Liljeberg posted her greatest spherical of the match with a three-under 69, main the Tigers with six birdies within the remaining day to complete in a tie for third place individually. This marks her third top-five end on the season.

Junior Fleur van Beek stayed at even-par for the third-straight day, carding a 72 within the remaining spherical. She completed the match in 14th individually. Senior Addie Dobson recorded a one-under 71 to complete in nineteenth at two-over.

Overall, the Tigers completed at four-under in a tie for second with Santa Clara and forward of No. 29 Eastern Michigan and No. 32 Kansas.

This concludes the record-setting fall season for Mizzou, which has seen the Tigers declare two team-titles and a person title in simply 5 tournaments. In that stretch, Ebba Liljeberg set the single-round program report with an 18-hole rating of 61, and Mizzou climbed 30 spots within the nationwide rankings over final season. 

After a break, the Tigers will resume play on the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona, on February 22.
