DALLAS – The Texas A&M swimming & diving program had a powerful exhibiting Friday afternoon on day 1 of a twin meet with SMU on the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center. 

The males’s staff took a 97-67 benefit and the ladies’s staff earned a slender 83-81 lead after day one. The Aggies secured victories in 9 of 16 attainable occasions.

The Maroon & White closed out the meet with the boys securing a victory within the 200 free relay (Ben Scholl, Jack Madoch, Swearingen, Sytsma) ending in 1:18.48 and the ladies ending second within the 200 free relay (Owens, Ella McQuinn, Sherrard, and Williamson) touching in 1:30.42. 

The Aggie divers completed first within the ladies’s 3-mtr with Gabrielle Filzen scoring a 283.50 and the boys completed second with Emilio Trevino scoring a 343.73.
