VB: Cowgirls Journey To Lamar/SFA This Week

LAKE CHARLES–  McNeese volleyball returns to motion this weekend when they may head to Lamar on Thursday and Stephen F. Austin on Saturday for 2 Southland Conference matches.  The street matches are two of the ultimate three common season street matches for the Cowgirls.
 
Saturday’s match would be the solely match streamed on ESPN+ this week.
 

McNeese (6-16, 2-8 SLC) is coming off a house loss towards UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi final weekend.

McNEESE NOTES

• McNeese will take to the street this weekend for matches at Lamar (Thursday) and Stephen F. Austin (Saturday).  The street matches mark two of the final three left on the schedule this season.  The different street match remaining is at Nicholls on Nov. 8.

• McNeese will look to snap a three-match dropping streak following dwelling losses towards East Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi final weekend.

• Head coach Sasha Karelov picked up her fiftieth profession win at Northwestern State on Oct. 15.

• Kayla Wilson continues to steer the group in kills (233) and has recorded double determine kills within the final 9 matches together with a season excessive 23 towards East Texas A&M on Oct. 18.  Wilson ranks third within the SLC with 4.08 kills per set in convention matches.

• Ava Henry leads the group with a .279 hitting p.c and 44 blocks.  She is third on the group in kills (179).

• Kinga Ziolkowska leads the group in assists (397) and repair aces (18)

• Lauren Fuller leads McNeese with 264 digs

• D’Nari Mills is second on the group with 189 kills and 184 digs

• Gracjana Rozanska ranks tenth in blocks (0.79) in SLC matches

 

ABOUT LAMAR

• Enter the match 14-11 total and is tied for fourth place within the SLC with a 7-3 file.

• Are on a seven-match profitable streak

• Defeated McNeese 3-1 in Lake Charles on Oct. 9 within the first assembly of the season.

McNeese leads the sequence 27-12 however the Cardinals have received two of the final three conferences together with the one in Lake Charles on Oct. 9

 

 ABOUT SFA

• Enter Thursday’s match at Nicholls tied for first place within the SLC with UTRGV with a 14-7 total file and 9-1 convention file.

• Only convention loss was a house match towards Incarnate Word on Oct. 18 the place the Cardinals received in 5 units.

• Have received the final 17 matches towards McNeese together with a 3-0 win in Lake Charles on Oct. 11.
