SCSU Men’s Swimming and Diving Falls to Wagner in House Opener

NEW HAVEN, CONN.– Southern Connecticut Men’s Swimming and Diving fell to Wagner College 220-74 of their first house meet of the 2025-26 season. 

3 Meter Diving: 

Elliot Speckhard gained the occasion with a rating of 219.85. Taking second, was Cole Mullarkey with 174.85 factors. 

200 yard Medley Relay: 

A Southern Connecticut relay staff of Kris Janney, Nick Fournier, Jacob Tanner and Daniel Lazar positioned fourth in 1:40.87. Following them in fifth was a staff of Sm Whittaker, Korbin Conliffe, Kenny Lagamao and Jack Simmons at 1:46.17. 

1000 Yard Freestyle: 

Richie Hall positioned fourth with a time of 10:25.85. Following him was Alex Ahrens in fifth at 10:33.68. 

200 yard Freestyle: 

Dylan Prescher positioned third at 1:47.35. Following him was Fry in fifth at 1:50.50

100 yard Backstroke: 

Mason Durant positioned fourth with a time of 56.03. In fifth was Lazar at 57.24. 

100 yard Breaststroke: 

Janney positioned fifth at 1:04.96. Following him was Bailey in sixth at 1:05.47. 

200 yard Butterfly: 

Lucas Quiroga positioned fourth at 2:02.48. Following him was Aiden Kennedy in fifth at 2:03.43.

 

50 yard Freestyle: 

Ben Frazer positioned third at 22.10. Following him was Travis Scott in fifth at 22.41. 

1 Meter Diving: 

Speckhard gained the occasion scoring 224.65. In second, was Mullarkey at 216.65. 

Men 100 yard Freestyle: 

Frazer positioned third at 48.35. Following him was Fry in fourth at 49.64. 

Men 200 yard Backstroke: 

Janney positioned fourth with a time of two:02.54. Following him was Bailey in fifth at 2:03.21. 

Men 200 yard Breaststroke: 

Zach Krantz positioned fourth at 2:25.27. Following him in sixth, was Simmons at 2:28.92. 

Men 500 yard Freestyle: 

Prescher positioned third at 4:54.74. Finishing fifth was Souidi at 5:08.42. 

Men 100 yard butterfly: 

Lazar positioned third at 54.31. Quiroga completed in fifth at 57.18. 

Men 200 yard IM: 

Hall positioned third with a time of two:06.20. Following him in fourth was Samuel Whittaker at 2:06.97. 

Men 200 yard Freestyle: 

A Southern Connecticut Relay staff of Prescher, Simmons, Quiroga and Souidi positioned second at 1:28.03. Following them in third, was a staff of Fry, Frazer, Scott and Lazar at 1:29.06. 

Southern Connecticut is again in motion on Friday Nov. 14 once they journey to Worcester to tackle Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) beginning at 6 PM.
