Hatters Be part of the Enjoyable at Monsters on MainStreet

DELAND, Fla. — Stetson University’s student-athletes traded their jerseys for costumes and sweet buckets Friday evening, becoming a member of 1000’s of children, households and guests in downtown DeLand for the annual Monsters on MainStreet celebration.

More than 200 Hatters from almost each athletic staff took half within the occasion, handing out sweet, portray faces, enjoying video games and having fun with an evening of Halloween enjoyable with the group.

Presented by the MainStreet DeLand Association, Monsters on MainStreet is one among Central Florida’s hottest fall occasions, drawing guests from throughout the area for an evening of costumes, treats and small-town attraction.

“Monsters on MainStreet is such a great event,” stated males’s soccer coach Emmett Rutkowski, whose staff introduced a speaker and turned their part of the road into an impromptu dance get together. “Our guys love participating, and you can see on everyone’s faces how much fun they’re having. This is one of the highlights of the year for Hatter athletics.”

From sweet giveaways to spooky video games, Hatters of all sports activities confirmed their Stetson spirit and helped make downtown DeLand just a bit extra magical.
