Designed for kids underneath 5 and their households, every week has a distinct theme, so no two weeks are the identical!
Councillor Rowan Cozens, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Heritage, Culture and the Arts at Newark and Sherwood District Council, stated: “I really would encourage families to book up for one of these brilliant sessions. Both the Civil War and Newark Museum galleries are jam-packed with toys and interactives and with music and storytelling too in our beautiful Tudor Hall, the sessions really allow families the chance to have fun, get creative, and learn something new – and for free too!”
Mini Museum runs from Thursday 6 November to Thursday 18 December. Sessions are free to these residing in Newark and Sherwood, however areas are restricted, so reserving is required. The Centre has a implausible family-friendly café on web site serving home made meals and muffins too.
