Remembrance ceremony at Tewkesbury Borough Council places of work

Tewkesbury Borough Council will bear in mind all those that served and gave their lives for our freedom on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, Armistice Day.

A brief ceremony led by The Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough, Councillor Kashan Pervaiz, shall be held by the flagpoles outdoors the Public Services Centre in Tewkesbury at 11am on Tuesday, 11 November.

The Last Post shall be performed earlier than a two-minute silence and wreath laying from members of the armed forces, Gloucestershire Constabulary and native nursery and faculty youngsters, and representatives of the Mayor’s charities.

Cllr Kashan Pervaiz, Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough, stated:

“On Remembrance Day, we collect to honour all who served and sacrificed – the courageous women and men of our armed forces, and people from throughout the Commonwealth, who gave their lives in service of peace and freedom.

“We bear in mind not solely the fallen, however the households they left behind and people at present serving. Their braveness and loss bind us in gratitude and responsibility.

“Let us show our remembrance not only in words but in action, by upholding and honouring the Armed Forces Covenant, now and always.”
