Swimming and Diving Travels to Face William & Mary Saturday

FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving groups are on the street to face William & Mary on Saturday with the meet scheduled to start at midday in Williamsburg, Va.
 
Saturday’s twin is the ultimate meet earlier than the George Mason hosts the annual Patriot Invitational Nov. 19-22 on the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

ABOUT THE PATRIOTS

 

The Mason males’s group has 17 returners and 5 newcomers on the roster for the 2025-26 season.

 

The Patriots’ males’s group begins the season with 5 seniors, 10 juniors, two sophomores coming back from final yr’s roster.  The returners will likely be joined by 5 newcomers together with one graduate scholar and three freshmen.

 

Returning for the Patriots are seniors Aoun Al-Hiari (Alexandria, Va.), Tate Anderson (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.), Michael Bock (Apex, N.C.), Jack Chapman (Canandaigua, N.Y.) and Jett Lee (Centreville, Va.).

 

George Mason has 10 juniors with Christian Anderson (Fairfax, Va.), Alex Crown (Gainesville, Va.), Anthony Garono (Crozet, Va.), Jack Graham (Williamsburg, Va.), Ian Jones (Fredericksburg, Va.), Colby Lane (Fairfax, Va.), Colin Murtaugh (Roanoke, Va.), Ian Rodgers (Newport News, Va.), Cody Scifres (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Ryan Serbia (Edmond, Okla.).

 

Sophomores embody Caden Guy (Oakton, Va.) and Gabriel Miller (Columbus, Ohio).

George Mason has 9 juniors with Megan Anderson (Blacksburg, Va.), Alayna Brooker (Aurora, Ohio), Sarah Dichak (Charlotte, N.C.), Lauren Hargnett (Raleigh, N.C.), Kristin Ivey (Greenville, N.C.), Hannah Magdeburg (Pottsville, Pa.), Regan Mooney (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Clare Smith (Cary, N.C) and Casey Tingen (Yorktown, Va.) coming into their third yr.

 

Sophomores embody Carly Bates (Virginia Beach, Va.), Greta Mott (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Adelline Oliveira (Muskegon, Mich.).

THE PATRIOTS SCHEDULE

 

The George Mason males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving groups will compete in eight occasions with three at house together with the annual Patriot Invitational on the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

 

The Patriots opened the marketing campaign on the Potomac Relay Invitational (Sept. 26), hosted by American University on the Reeves Aquatic Center in Washington, D.C.  The males’s group positioned first and the ladies’s group was fourth.

 

George Mason then hosted Old Dominion (Oct. 3) for the primary house meet of the season.  The Patriots’ girls’s group received 10 of 16 occasions and defeated Old Dominion, 159-103.  The males’s group received 9 of 16 occasions and downed the Monarchs, 152-110.

The Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships will likely be held Feb. 18-21 on the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
