SCSU Women’s Swimming and Diving Bests Worcester Polytechnic Institute 142-128

Worcester, M.A.- Souther Connecticut Women’ Swimming and Diving defeated Worcester Polytechnic Institute 142-128 Friday in Worcester M.A. to seize their first win of the season. 

200 Yard Medley Relay: 

A Southern Connecticut relay group of Abby Lyons, Allyson Quitos, Aralyn Vogel and Emily Denise received the occasion with a time of 1:54.64. Another Southern Connecticut group of Julia Pitchell, Ellyn Baker, Molly Kennedy and Jilian Pitchell positioned third at 1:55.18. 

1000 Yard Freestyle: 

Paola Catillo received the occasion with a time of 11:08.72. Ava Emmerich positioned fourth at 11:20.70. 

200 Yard Freestyle: 

Sierra DuCharme positioned third at 2:02.95, following her in fourth was Kali Dominguez at 2:02.96. 

100 Yard Backstroke: 

Julia Pitchell positioned second at 1:01.98, following her was Lyons putting third at 1:02.31. 

100 Yard Breaststroke: 

Emma St. Hillaire received the occasion with a time of 1:10.43. Baker completed fourth with a time of 1:11.30. 

200 Yard Butterfly: 

Jasmine Uricchio received the occasion with a time of two:11.77. Lakshmi Garofalo positioned fifth at 2:25.01. 

50 Yard Freestyle: 

Kennedy received the occasion with a time of 24.29, following her was Denise in second at 25.91. 

1 Meter Diving: 

Lexi Dominguez received the occasion scoring 146.40, following her in second was Garofalo with a rating of 137.70. 

100 Yard Freestyle: 

Kennedy received the occasion ending with a time of 52.81. Jilian Pitchell positioned third at 57.37. 

200 Yard Backstroke: 

St. Hillaire positioned second at 2:18.14. Sara Roney completed in fourth at 2:18.67. 

200 Yard Breaststroke: 

Quitos received the even with a time of two:31.60. Lyons positioned third at 2:37.12. 

500 Yard Freestyle: 

Uricchio received the occasion with a time of 5:17.46, following her in second was Kali Dominguez ending in 5:24.17. 

100 Yard Butterfly: 

Kennedy positioned second at 1:00.15, following her in third wa Julia Pitchell at 1:00.45. 

The Owls are again in motion on Friday Nov. 21 once they return house to the waters of The Hutchinson Natatorium to tackle The College of Staten Island at 4 PM.
