Jimmie Ray Hollifield, Sr., age 78, of Bean Station, a faithful man of religion and household, went residence to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Joseph’s Chapel Church and a Baptist pastor. Jim leaves behind a legacy of affection, laughter, and unwavering devotion. He was a God-fearing, God-abiding man and lived his life to unfold the Gospel and share the sunshine of Christ with everybody he met. Family was the middle of Jim’s world and he beloved them greater than something and would do something for them. His love and assist by no means wavered, and even within the hardest occasions, he was all the time there with open arms and an open coronary heart. He was preceded in dying by his mother and father, Roy and Pearl Hollifield; brothers, Bea, Will, Floyd, Ron, Gene, and Benny Hollifield; and sisters, Jessie Mae Johnson and Mary Crestwell. He is survived by his spouse of fifty 5 years, Rhonda Hollifield; kids, Jimmie Hollifield, Jr., Angela Phillips, Robert Hollifield, David Hollifield, Paul Hollifield, and Mary (Jamie) Lewis; grandchildren, Ashley (Jessie), Justin (Laycee), Amber, Chase, Kirsten, Kiera, and Kinley; great-grandchildren, Tori, Gauge, and Holden; sister, Ruth (Oscar) Arms; particular good friend, Jimmy Eldridge; and several other nieces and nephews. The household will obtain buddies from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, November twenty third at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral companies will comply with at 7 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Davis and grandson, Justin Ferrell officiating. Family and buddies will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, November twenty fourth at St. Paul Cemetery for graveside companies.
