Coyotes, Tommies earn Kwik Star #SummitSD peak performer awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota trio of Nick Rounds, Maddox Mork, and Emily DiProspero together with St. Thomas’ Maya Kelly collected the most recent Summit League Kwik Star Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week awards, League officers launched Tuesday. Rounds and Mork earned the boys’s swimmer and diver awards, whereas DiProspero and Kelly garnered the ladies’s swimmer and diver awards, respectively.
 
Rounds picked up the fourth weekly honor of his profession, whereas Mork secured his first on the boys’s aspect. For the ladies, each DiProspero and Kelly claimed the primary weekly recognition of their collegiate careers.

Rounds and Mork powered the Yotes to a workforce win on the Tommie Invitational. Rounds dominated the freestyle occasions and the 100 again, setting faculty information in all three, whereas Mork added a victory on the 3-meter board and a third-place end within the 1-meter.

On the ladies’s aspect, DiProspero delivered a dominant efficiency for USD, taking first within the 200, 500, and 1650 free races and including wins within the 400 medley and 800 free relays. Kelly continued her run of excellence for the Tommies, sweeping each boards for the third consecutive meet and serving to the squad end third.

• Placed first on the 3-meter board with a rating of 303.50, a 19-point bounce from his earlier season finest on the Tommie Invitational
• Grabbed third within the 1-meter with a rating of 268.85
• Collected his first profession weekly award

WOMEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

• Earned victories within the 400 medley relay and 800 free relay as effectively
• Collected her first profession weekly award
