HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA — Larry Rees, an area photographer who additionally served as a trainer for generations of scholars all through the Tri-State, died Dec. 28 at age 77.

Rees, a Huntington resident, was a well known and highly- wanted photographer, and taught programs at Marshall University, Ohio University Southern, Cabell County Vo-Tech and the Huntington Museum of Art.

There will likely be gathering at Creekside Golf Course starting at 4:30 p.m., meals and Larry’s signature drink will likely be served. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers donations could also be made to Huntington Museum of Art in his honor.
