Photography & Art on the Rock: Eric Klepinger
Photography & Art on the Rock is a month-to-month exhibit within the foyer of the Split Rock Lighthouse Visitor Center, showcasing the work of native artists and photographers who seize the great thing about our panorama and wildlife.
For the month of August, we’re proud to characteristic the work of Eric Klepinger, a North Shore-based artist whose deep connection to nature shines via in his artwork.
Artist Bio:
Raised within the mountains of Colorado, Eric developed an early love for the pure world, spending his days exploring the 40 acres round his residence and creating pencil sketches for family and friends. Encouraged by his mom and impressed by proficient artwork academics, Eric went on to earn a level in graphic arts from the University of Denver. His profession in multimedia design finally gave option to a full-time pursuit of advantageous artwork, the place he now works in a wide range of media together with pencil, pastel, scratchboard, pen and ink, and acrylic.
Eric’s artistic course of is grounded in analysis and remark, with every composition evolving over weeks of considerate design. Drawing on his background in graphic design, he blends realism with a fluid, expressive type to seize the vitality and spirit of his topics. His work displays a deep reverence for the pure world, which continues to encourage him each day from his cabin residence alongside Lake Superior’s North Shore.
Eric enjoys sharing his ardour via educating and commissioned art work, and he’s delighted to current his work this August at Split Rock Lighthouse.
Klepinger’s present will run from August 1-31. He shall be onsite to speak about his work and course of on the next dates:
