Arizona State Record Holder Delaney Barbee Gives 2027 Verbal to Sun Devils

NEW COMMIT: Arizona State University has stored native standout Delaney Barbee in-state for her faculty profession. The dash freestyler hails from New River, Arizona, about 45 minutes north from Tempe.

Barbee does her membership swimming with Scottsdale Aquatic Club and raced three occasions at Juniors West final month. Last summer season, she was a three-time finalist at Arizona Long Course Championships. She is a U.S. Open qualifier.

• 100 free – 50.17
• 200 free – 1:51.39

Currently a junior at Boulder Creek High School, Barbee not too long ago was the runner-up in each the 50 free and 100 free on the 2025 Arizona Division I State Championships.
