Mountain West Girls’s Swimming & Diving Athletes Of The Week – Jan. 6 – Mountain West Convention

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West introduced on Tuesday athletes of the week for ladies’s swimming & diving. Grand Canyon’s Paula Martinez was named the MW Swimmer of the Week, the Lopes’ Brooke Woeslaw earned MW Diver of the Week honors and San Diego State’s Sierra Tallman was tabbed because the MW Freshman of the Week.

MOUNTAIN WEST SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
PAULA MARTINEZ, GRAND CANYON
Senior, Madrid, Spain/Colegio San Diego Gredos Las Rozas

• Helped the Aztecs to a 4-0 report after they posted double dual-meet victories over Vanderbilt (146-107) and San Diego (153-132) on Jan. 2, adopted by a sweep of Cal State East Bay (183-91) and Pepperdine (162-128) on Jan. 5, extending their twin successful streak to 84 consecutive twin meets, which dates again to January 8, 2018.
