About Your Program Instructor

Since retiring in 2004, Herb Lewis has devoted himself to landscaping, birding, and pictures. Over the previous 21 years, he has channeled his information and expertise into making a pure wildlife habitat inside his personal yard backyard to draw native and migrating birds. Herb is an Honorary Master Gardener, serving as an teacher for Master Gardener lessons overlaying three counties, and he has offered workshops for the annual Alabama Audubon Mountain Workshop. Herb and his spouse Terry sponsored and helped develop the Lewis Birding Trail on the Huntsville Botanical Garden, the place he additionally serves as a volunteer docent.
