Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints 5 to the Florida Gaming Control Commission

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis introduced the appointment of Julie Brown as Chair, Peter Cuderman and William Spicola and the reappointment of John Michael D’Aquila and Tina Repp to the Florida Gaming Control Commission. 

Julie Brown

Brown at the moment serves because the Vice Chair of the Florida Gaming Control Commission. Previously, she has served because the Secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and was a Commissioner for the Florida Public Service Commission. Brown earned her bachelor’s diploma and her juris physician from the University of Florida. 

Peter Cuderman

Cuderman is the Founding Partner of Fidelis Fund, a Florida-based non-public fairness agency investing in Main Street companies. Previously, he served as Director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs for the Governor of Florida. Earlier in his profession, Cuderman served as a commissioned officer within the United States Marine Corps. He earned his juris physician and grasp’s diploma in enterprise administration and is at the moment a Master in Public Administration candidate at Harvard University.

William Spicola

Spicola is an Attorney at Komisar Spicola, P.A. Active in his neighborhood, he’s a member of the Second Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and is a member of the Florida Bar Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee. Spicola earned his bachelor’s diploma in economics and political science and his juris physician from the University of Florida. 

John Michael D’Aquila

D’Aquila is the Owner and Certified Public Accountant of D’Aquila Advisors, LLC. Active in his neighborhood, he’s a member of the American and New York Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and beforehand served as a member of the Sawgrass Country Club Finance Committee and the Northeast Florida Society of Financial Professionals. D’Aquila earned his bachelor’s diploma in accounting from Binghamton University. 

Tina Repp

Repp is a Healthcare Fraud Investigator for Qlarant. Previously, she served as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the place she investigated complicated monetary crimes, authorities program fraud, elder fraud, and transnational organized crime. Repp earned her bachelor’s diploma from Baldwin-Wallace College and her juris physician from Cleveland State University.
