Bernot Captures MSC Swimmer of the Week Honors

Bowling Green, KY – An spectacular debut, which featured three wins, led to Patriots Titouan Bernot being named the Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Week, convention officers introduced Monday.

Bernot opened the week by pulling away from the sphere to win the 200 yard free towards NCAA DI Garner-Webb.  The freshman clocked a 1:39.70, which ranks tenth within the NAIA this season. 

The Nancy, France native adopted that up by touching the wall in 46.42 to win the 100 free together with his second NAIA Provisional Cut.  Bernot capped off his meet main off UC’s 200 free relay that went 1:23.96, which hit the NAIA “A” Cut.

UC returns to the water on Friday, January sixteenth, once they journey to Danville, KY to face Centre and Transylvania in a tri-meet.  That meet is about to start at 6:30 p.m.
