Big 12 West Championship Up Subsequent for Swim and Dive

Scoring
The Big 12 East/West Championship will make the most of a novel scoring system, outlined beneath:

Men’s: 4 entries per staff, per occasion. 
     Heat 1: B-Final [2 entries per team]
     Heat 2: A-Final [2 entries per team] 
Women’s: 4 entries per staff, per occasion. 
     Heat 1-2: A/B Final [3 entries per team total] 
     Heat 3: Super last [1 entry per team]

• Men’s occasions can be scored:
  • A Final: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13,12, 11
  • B: Final: 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
• Women’s competitors can be scored:
  • Super Final: 32, 28, 27, 26, 25
  • 1st-Eighth: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13,12, 11
  • Ninth-Sixteenth: 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
    • Women’s B & C Final can be seeded quickest to slowest, however scoring can be primarily based on last end.

Since becoming a member of the Big 12 previous to final season, Utah has claimed 17 weekly awards, 12 of which have come from divers. Petersen leads all Utes with 5 weekly awards, all Diver of the Week nods, and was acknowledged because the convention’s Diver of the Year a season in the past.

Among the Best
The Utes have been represented within the ladies’s, males’s and mixed staff rankings when the US Professional Diving Coaches Association (US PDCA) launched its second in season ballot final month. The ladies’s staff checked in at No. 19 nationally, the mixed squad was ranked No. 21 and the lads’s facet acquired votes.
