Pals Blog Hop – Something New

Welcome to this month’s Pals Blog Hop! Our theme is Something New, and I’m excited to share a undertaking created with the new Lovely Arrangements Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

For my undertaking, I created this double e book enjoyable fold card whereas enjoying with these attractive new merchandise. As typically occurs in my craft room, this design took place because of a cheerful accident. I had a chunk of Secret Sea cardstock that was only a tad too brief for what I initially deliberate. Instead of beginning over, I made a decision to lean into it, and that’s how this double book-style enjoyable fold was born! Here’s a view of the entrance.

The layered florals from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle are excellent for showcasing on interactive folds like this. I really like how the design permits the cardboard to open in a singular means whereas nonetheless retaining loads of area for stamping and layers. Here’s a take a look at the primary opening.

The Details

  • Card Base: Secret Sea 5-1/2″ x 7-3/8″, scored at: 4-1/4″, 5-1/16″, 5-13/16″, and 6-1/2″
  • Lovely Blossoms DSP: I used the two photos proven from the cut-apart sheet (trim to your most well-liked measurement and proportion)
  • Old Olive Rickrack: I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to tuck this behind the outer fold. Fair warning: this trim just isn’t pleasant to winter-dry palms, it likes to snag on every thing! It’s so attractive that it’s completely value it, although.

Sometimes one of the best designs come from merely enjoying with new merchandise, and never being afraid to let the provides paved the way. Lastly, right here’s a view of the inside.

Be positive to proceed hopping alongside to see extra “Something New” inspiration from the remainder of the Pals staff. Thanks a lot for stopping by!
