SAGE Community Arts is making ready to host its eleventh Annual Black and White Photography Exhibition, a juried present curated by photographer and educator Alex Pigeon.
While showing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, SAGE Community Arts Executive Director Jill Benson mentioned the exhibition options chosen works from artists throughout a number of areas, kinds and material. Benson mentioned that whereas she is surrounded by artwork and colour every day, there’s something particularly compelling about black and white images.

Benson mentioned the group is hopeful the exhibition will open Jan. 20, with public viewing out there as soon as SAGE Community Arts reopens following a delayed flooring set up brought on by a delivery error past the group’s management.
An awards presentation and artist reception is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29. The exhibition will stay on show at SAGE via March 7 and goals to help native and rising artists whereas inviting the general public to discover images that emphasizes ambiguity, emotion and visible storytelling.
