DETROIT — The Wayne State University swimming & diving squads will proceed their busy schedule with a visit to the University of Findlay on Saturday, January 17.  Action from inside Sink Natatorium for WSU’s fourth general twin meet of the 2025-26 season will start at 1 p.m.

The Warriors will face nationally ranked competitors in each genders as soon as once more this weekend.  The Oilers are ranked eighth (males) and thirteenth (ladies) within the nation for Division II in line with the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) high 25.

Can’t wait to get there, see our Warriors race with them, and try to continue to build to our ultimate goal of being the best we can be at both GLIAC’s and Nationals.”

National Spotlight

The most up-to-date version of the CSCAA high 25 was launched in December, with each Warrior squads receiving votes. The WSU males are 14th within the nation with 100 complete factors, whereas the Green and Gold ladies collected eight complete votes to seem simply exterior of the highest 25 in twenty seventh place. Wasiniak Collects Weekly Honor

About Findlay

Findlay is led by Diego Santos in his third season as head coach of the Oilers’ swimming & diving applications.  He beforehand spent 4 years because the assistant coach of each groups previous to his promotion to the lead position.  Santos has guided UF to 4 dual-meet victories on each the lads’s and girls’s sides, together with victories for each over Ashland, Lewis, Hillsdale, and John Carroll University.  However, the Oilers misplaced in each genders final weekend at Indianapolis of their first motion of 2026.
