Women’s Swimming and Diving Welcomes Liberty for Senior Day This Weekfinish

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women’s Swimming and Diving welcomes Liberty for Senior Day this weekend (Jan. 16-17). Asheville appears to defend its 15-meet successful streak contained in the Justice Center, courting again to Oct. 2020.

About the Bulldogs – Asheville comes into the weekend at 4-1 in twin meets and 2-0 within the ASUN after a 109-91 win over Gardner-Webb again on Friday (Jan. 9). Leigha Travis has earned a pair of ASUN Diver of the Week honors thus far this season, whereas Anna Marcotti has earned two ASUN Swimmer of the Week honors on the yr.  
 
About Liberty – Liberty comes into the weekend at 4-0 in duals and 3-0 within the American Athletic Conference. Liberty completed second out of six groups of their final outing, internet hosting the TYR ’85 Invite Nov. 21-23.

Series History – This would be the 10^th all-time assembly between Asheville and Liberty, with Liberty main the all-time sequence 7-2. Asheville has gained two out of the final three conferences within the sequence.
