Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards – Jan. 20

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –  Delaware swept this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Swimming and Diving Awards, introduced Tuesday by the league workplace.

Matevi Namakonov was named Swimmer of the Week. He claimed 4 first place finishes together with the 50-free, 100-free, 400-free relay and 200-medley relay. Kevin Siegfried was named Men’s Diver of the Week after he gained the 1-Meter dive and positioned second within the 3-Meter. In the 1M, the senior scored 289.0 which was 31.20 factors forward of the second place finisher. In the 3M, he scored a 284.18 to take residence second place. Both performances marked season highs for Siegfried.
