Swim and Dive Earn Fall Scholar All-America Honors

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic males’s and girls’s swimming & diving group proceed to excel within the classroom at a excessive stage underneath Head Coach Lara Preacco and employees.
 
This is ninth consecutive semester that each the ladies’s and males’s groups had been named to the Scholar All-America group by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the autumn of 2025 semester.
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be named to CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, a group should be a CSCAA member and obtain a cumulative grade-point common of at the least 3.0 for the semester of Fall 2024. In whole, 781 groups from 459 establishments had been chosen by the CSCAA as a Scholar All-American member.
 
For the autumn semester, the Owl girls tallied a GPA of three.57, with the lads intently behind by recording a 3.32 GPA.
 
25 scholar athletes on the ladies aspect recorded a GPA of over 3.0. Cica Carvalho, Ella Freeman, Ludo Pavia, and Amelia Robertson scored excellent 4.0 GPAs making the President’s List.
 
For the lads, 21 people had GPAs of three.0 or greater, with Gianni Carlino and Brody Singley honored on the President’s List for his or her 4.0 GPA achievement.
 

ABOUT CSCAA

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America is the nation’s first group of school coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the game of swimming and diving with coaches on the epicenter of management, advocacy {and professional} improvement.

The Owls will return to the FAU Aquatic Center on Saturday, Jan. 31 as they get set to wrap up common season competitors with a twin meet versus FIU’s girls’s group. Meet motion will start at 10 a.m.
