Explore Camp Daggett by torchlight 

Camp Daggett will host a Torchlight Snowshoe in partnership with Bearcub Outfitters from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. 

The camp’s scenic trails might be lit by torchlight. Bearcub might be on website to supply snowshoes and assist with sizing. After the stroll, company can heat up within the lodge with sizzling cocoa and cookies. There will even be an opportunity to win raffle prizes.

Take the Polar Plunge at LSSU 

You can assist elevate funds for Special Olympics Michigan on the Polar Plunge on Sunday, Jan. 25 at Lake Superior State University’s Norris Center. 

The Sault event has a purpose of elevating $18,000. Check-in and registration opens at 10 a.m., and the costume parade might be at 11 a.m. Following the plunge, stick round for the After-Splash Bash, awards and raffles.

Enjoy “Stories, Songs and Story Songs” in Cheboygan 

If it’s too chilly, head over to the Cheboygan Area Public Library to heat up with “an afternoon of melody, laughter, ideas, good friends and refreshments” on Sunday, Jan. 25. 

Dale Rieger and the Jug Band might be performing “Stories, Songs and Story Songs” at 2 p.m. Tickets aren’t required and all are welcome to attend.
